June 20, 2014

NEW — 1 p.m. June 20, 2014

King County employees will host a public meeting June 23 to discuss their work over the last few months to design roadside bioretention swales.

The swales will help keep May Creek clean, as officials look to improve water quality in the May Creek watershed for the benefit of all.

At the 6 p.m. June 23 Renton meeting, employees will discuss how the locations were chosen, how roadside bioretention swales help clean stormwater runoff and how the project could affect May Creek-area residents.

The meeting is at the Lord of Life Church, 12819 160th Ave. S.E., Renton.
