Renton Tech falls short of Aspen Institute’s top prize

Renton Technical College fell short in its quest for a $1 million prize courtesy of the Aspen Institute.

The school was one of 10 finalists considered for the organization’s 2015 Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence.

The prize, awarded every two years, is the nation’s signature recognition of high achievement and performance among community colleges.

The top prize went to Santa Fe College in Gainesville, Florida. Read more
