Cornerstone Studio students use the mirror to watch their movements as they rehearse the dance school’s production of ‘The Nutcracker’ in 2013.

Cornerstone Studio presents its annual production of “The Nutcracker” Dec. 20-21 at the Bellevue High School Performing Arts Center.

With a cast of more than 70 dancers portraying the beloved characters of Clara, the Nutcracker Prince, playful mice, toy soldiers, the Sugar Plum Fairy and more, this ballet is a favorite holiday tradition.

Cornerstone’s production incorporates dancers, many of them from Newcastle, of all experience levels, from age 5 to adult. The Newport Hills studio will offer four performances over the two-day period.
