An alert neighbor spotted a suspicious vehicle, occupied by two or three people, driving around the 8900 block of 133rd Ave. S.E. at about the same time a home was burglarized in the area on Jan. 22, according to a release from Newcastle Police Chief Melinda Irvine.

The vehicle was described as a 1990s Honda Civic, possibly light blue, with some white on the passenger-side fender.

The burglary occurred between 10:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. and during that time, the car was seen driving through the neighborhood several times.
