The Issaquah and Renton  school districts have announced they will open two hours late and 90 minutes late, respectively, on Jan. 17 due to winter weather conditions.

Buses in the Issaquah district will operate on snow routes effective until 1 p.m. Jan. 17.

Go to www.issaquah.wednet.edu/documents/emrg.pdf to view the district’s Emergency Transportation Brochure to see where snow bus stops are located. Students will be returned to the same bus stop where they were picked up in the morning regardless of after-school road conditions, according to the district.

Before school activities including school-age care, Headstart, a.m. and p.m. preschool, a.m. and p.m. kindergarten and out of district routes  are cancelled Jan. 17 in all Issaquah schools. Full day kindergarten will start two hours late.

The Renton School District will have limited transportation all day, and no a.m. kindergarten will be held. Zero hour classes at Hazen High School and Early Childhood Programs throughout the district have been cancelled.
