A teenager rolled a golf cart down an eight-foot embankment at The Golf Club at Newcastle at about 6:20 a.m. July 14.
The 17-year-old golf course employee became trapped under the cart, and firefighters and other golf course employees lifted the cart off of the teen, said Lt. Troy Donlin, Bellevue Fire Department spokesman.
The teen was injured and transported to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition. Donlin did not have information about the extent of the teen’s injuries.
David Valdyka, director of marketing at Oki Golf, said he did not have enough details to comment on the size or weight of the cart that pinned the teen.
