Stolen cell phone at Maywood

A woman reported that her daughter’s iPhone was stolen from Maywood Middle School, 14490 168 Ave. S.E., the morning of May 26. She said her daughter — a Maywood student — left the $400 phone in an unlocked locker in the women’s locker room during her physical education class.

Locker burglary

A man reported that his unlocked locker was burglarized at the Coal Creek YMCA, 13750 Newcastle Golf Club Road, between 8 and 9 p.m. May 26. The stolen items were two cell phones worth $150, a driver’s license worth $15, two wallets worth $70, $90 in cash and a debit card.

 

Mail theft

A woman reported that a package was stolen from her porch in the 7000 block of 115th Court Southeast between 2:45 and 4:15 p.m. May 27. The stolen items were a stereo faceplate and wiring harness, together worth $25.

 

Teenage shoplifter

Police arrested a 14-year-old boy after he stole two 24-ounce cans of Steel Reserve beer from QFC, 6940 Coal Creek Parkway Southeast, just after 9 p.m. May 27.

 

Home and car burglary

A man reported that his 2005 Dodge Dakota was broken into at 4 a.m. May 28 while it was left unlocked in front of his house in the 11900 block of Southeast 78th Street. He reported that a burglar entered the unlocked car, used a garage door opener to enter the garage and then entered his unlocked Mercedes C230. The stolen items were a Bluetooth speaker worth $125, a garage door opener worth $30, a Macy’s bag containing $150 worth of miscellaneous items, a makeup bag worth $60, a purse worth $85, $30 in cash, a parking pass and a library card.
