Washington State Patrol investigators seek witnesses and information about a possible sexual assault on a teenager near Issaquah.
The teenage girl said she had been out walking at about 5:30 p.m. Monday, when a man picked her up along state Route 900 and then assaulted her.
Investigators said the man then drove the Issaquah teenager around the area, and held the girl against her will for 30 minutes before he released her.
The state patrol described the suspect as a Hispanic man with a strong accent, between 19 and 25 years old, and about 5-feet 6-inches tall. He was dressed in jeans, a dark blue sweatshirt and a hat. Investigators said he had sideburns visible from beneath the hat.
The vehicle was a dark blue, midsize pickup. Inside the truck bed was a blue metal toolbox with white writing.
People with information about the case should contact Detective Stacy Moate at 401-7746.
