Car theft

A man reported that his 1995 Acura Integra was stolen from Walker’s Run Condominiums, 7453 Newcastle Golf Club Road, between 11 p.m. Aug. 23 and 9:30 a.m. Aug. 24. There was no broken glass at the scene, nor any signs of forced entry. He estimated his vehicle was worth $2,500.

Carl prowls

A woman reported that her 1997 Ford Explorer was broken into at the Red Town Trailhead, 15500 Newcastle Golf Club Road, between 4 and 4:30 p.m. Aug. 24. She reported that her $200 Cole Haan purse, $50 wallet, passport, driver’s license and $7 in cash had been stolen from her car.

A man reported that his car had been broken into at Walker’s Run Condominiums between 10 p.m. Aug. 25 and 3 p.m. Aug. 26. His reported that his window had been smashed and his $75 GPS and $100 cordless skill saw stolen.

Not a good place to leave a car

Police responded to an abandoned vehicle call 12:05 a.m. Aug. 25. A 1991 Honda Accord had been left on Coal Creek Parkway near 135th Avenue Southeast and was blocking one lane. The reporting person said the vehicle had been unoccupied and rolling backward down the hill before coming to a stop at the curb. The front windows were rolled down, the stereo was missing and the ignition was damaged.
