Mayor names members of City Council to city, regional committees

Mayor John Dulcich has named members of the council to the city’s existing committees, as well as regional committees.Dulcich, Councilman Rich Crispo and Councilman Bill Erxleben will serve on the Finance Committee. Councilwomen Lisa Jensen and Carol Simpson and Crispo will serve on the city’s Salary and Benefits Committee.
The Finance Committee held its first meetings Feb. 4 and 18, but the Salary and Benefits Committee has not yet scheduled its first meeting. The meetings of both committees are open to the public.
Simpson will serve on the Metropolitan Solid Waste Advisory Committee, while Dulcich, Deputy Mayor Steve Buri and Councilman Sonny Putter will serve on the Eastside Transportation Committee.
Putter will serve on the Suburban Cities Public Issues Committee. And Buri will act as a member of the Jail Advisory Group.
