City awards contract for bus stop project

The City Council has awarded the construction contract for the bus stop project to Marshbank Construction Co., of Lake Stevens.
Marshbank was the low bidder on the project at just over $2.1 million. The bid is about $600,000 lower than the engineer’s estimate. Marshbank is also working on the Coal Creek Parkway project.
